THIS TRIP IS SOLD OUT
St. Martin, St. Barth and Anguilla. It was on Columbier beach in St. Barth that we decided we wanted to learn to sail. After hiking through the jungle down to the magnificent crescent beach once owned by the Rockefeller family, we looked on the sailboats that had anchored overnight with the crew that was eating finger sandwiches and drinking fresh maid margaritas and realized there was a better way. Anguilla is an untouched wonder with empty white sand beaches. St Barth is the Monte Carlo of the Caribbean with 5-star restaurants and top of the line shopping. St Martin is everything in-between.

The British Virgin Islands can be whatever type of vacation you want it to be. It can be a raucous party cruise where you sail from one bar to the next. We’ve done that trip. It’s awesome. We have also done several trips that were three-generation families with young kids and grandparents. You can be as active or as sedentary as you want. Which trip will this one be? What do you do when you’re way too old to party all night in Ibiza??? You go sailing in Mallorca, obviously. Crystal clear waters, gorgeous weather, world-class ports, beautiful anchorages, stunning natural parks, delicious Spanish food, and unique Spanish culture. So, yeah, we got a C- in high school Spanish. We think that’s because we never got the opportunity to study our Español on the stunning beaches and coves of the Balearic Islands.

Every time we go sailing anywhere in the Caribbean, our friend Jennifer says, “CaN wE PLEASE Go SeE tHe sWimMiNg PIGS!?!?!” And then we have the awkward conversation where we tell her the swimming pigs are only in The Bahamas and we are in a Dairy Queen right now, Jennifer.

A trip to Bora Bora to stay in an overwater bungalow is bucket list item. A trip to Bora Bora, Huihane and Riatea in a movable overwater bungalow is life changing. This trip includes long sails to three different motus with some of the most beautiful water in the ocean. Also a great trip for surfing, kite boarding and hiking to the top of Mount Otemanu — Bora Bora’s ancient dormant volcano.
